Nicholas Ward is a graduate student seeking his Master's degree in Mass Communication Law at the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is a graduate teaching assistant teaching future journalists how to communicate on the World Wide Web. He instructs in HTML (hand coded) and Web design.

In 1999, Ward became involved in a trademark lawsuit involving the months old cybersquatting laws. Fortunately, the case was settled out of court.

Ward is also an artist, musician, and songwriter. He sells small jewelry boxes decorated with Celtic knotwork called Nick's Knacks. He plays guitar, digeradoo, electric bass, and several percussive instruments including the Bodhran, a large round drum of Irish folk music.
